Hi, it’s Micah, ya know, the chick behind the camera lol.

About 6 years ago I picked up a camera for the first time and, as they say, the rest is history.  What started out as a hobby for a girl in SE Oklahoma, quickly turned into something so much more. Photography has become a huge part of my life over the last few years and I couldn’t image my life without it, honestly.  I have so much passion and admiration for this industry, and the people that I get to meet because of it. I can truly say that each client that I have has become a friend, and that’s all I could ever hope for.

If that 17 year old high-school senior could see herself now…she’d be shocked, and filled with love and joy. over the last 6 years i’ve watched this little hobby of mine turn into a little business. As it has grown, so have i and my love for it. I’ve learned a lot, i’ve laughed a lot, i’ve cried a lot, there’s been ups, downs, good days, bad days, and lots of in between. but the one thing that keeps me going is my love for not only what i do but for you…the people who keep this dream of mine going, the people who love my work just as much as i love the work i’m doing.

i take to heart the fact that those little SD cards that i hold in my hand have memories and moments that you may never get to have again or moments that only come once in a lifetime. like your grandmothers hug, your dad the moment he sees his baby girl in her wedding dress, your newborns first few days in the world, or the day the love of your life “popped the question”.  i love capturing these moments in life. i love what i do. and i love you.

this business is my baby, it means so much to me. from the outside looking in this may just look like my job but it’s not, it’s my passion, my creative outlet, my stress reliever, and my first love. with each photo i take, each photo i edit, each gallery i send out, my heart and my love for what i do grows. this is something i will never get tired of. it’s become a part of who i am, and i wouldn’t trade one single sleepless night editing for anything else. i have a deep love for “my job” and for the people who’s lives and moments i’m capturing.
